Why should businesses invest in culture change programmes?
In their 2024 report, Deloitte found that on average organisation-wide (Universal) early interventions, such as culture change provide the highest ROI, at £6.30 for every £1 invested.
So, whilst any investment in mental health interventions, such as our training courses, will produce significant ROI, our Culture Change programme will support you to see improvements both to your bottom line, but also in factors such as sickness rates and retention.
How does it work?
Firstly, your leadership team will receive our Essentials training, ensuring they have the knowledge of our approach, understand the impact unmet needs can have, and answer questions from your organisation.
We then survey your whole team, using the Emotional Needs Audit to get a baseline of how your staff are meeting their emotional needs, as well as the supporting factors or barriers they have. Each individual’s answers are anonymous, and we will only look at reportable groups larger than four.
Reportable groups are bespoke to every organisation, depending on your industry, size or structure. We work with you to identify the best groups to achieve your objectives. We may look at demographic groups, teams or departments, or a mix of both.
We then report back our findings to your leadership team. We talk through what needs are met well, where needs are unmet and explore what barriers people highlight.
This then informs an action planning session, which we facilitate, to come out with concrete changes.
We support you to communicate the survey results, and the planned actions, in a way that suits your organisation.
Over two years, we repeat this process three more times, to embed the emotional needs and resources approach, and to continually improve and implement the culture change you desire.
We can also work with your HR team if they plan to measure other metrics within the organisation, such as sickness rates, retention, or results from other engagement surveys.
