Effective Practitioner Network
Network with other professionals trained by The Mental Health Toolkit
The Effective Practitioner Network (EPN) brings together those who have completed our The Comprehensive Toolkit course.
If you have benefited from our training and wish to continue learning from both our trainers and fellow practitioners, this network could be for you.
The Effective Practitioner Network is designed to provide you with the continued support needed to put the skills and knowledge you have learnt into practice.
What do you get as a member?
By joining the network, you will:
- Receive an invite to the Effective Practitioner Network LinkedIn group
- Have the opportunity to attend exclusive networking events
- Be the first to be invited to take part in workshops new to The Mental Health Toolkit
You will connect with a growing group of practitioners, using the Emotional Needs and Resources approach to support recovery and wellbeing across diverse sectors.
Why has the Network been created?
After completing their training with The Mental Health Toolkit, we often find that attendees express a desire to continue their learning and to stay connected with one another.
The Effective Practitioner Network provides the opportunity to do just this. Suffolk Mind – our parent organisation – sees our new network as another essential step towards meeting our mission “to make Suffolk the best place in the world to talk about and take care of mental health”.
Who is the Network for?
You can become a member once you have completed The Comprehensive Toolkit (formerly known as ‘CARES’).
Not yet attended this course?
Don’t worry, as soon as you complete The Comprehensive Toolkit in the future, you will be invited to join the network, and given a code to use on the booking form below.
Where will events take place?
The networking events and workshops will mainly be held online, to be more accessible to our members. Some events will be face to face across locations in Suffolk.
How do I join the Effective Practitioner Network?
Joining the network will give you the opportunity to join the Effective Practitioner Network LinkedIn group and attend exclusive events and workshops.
Please remember, due to the themes and topics covered, you will need to have completed The Comprehensive Toolkit (formerly CARES) to join the network.
We invite you to join the network as a founding member with no current additional cost, to thank you for investing in our training. Please get in touch with us to join.

It’s so valuable to hear what other businesses are doing to support their employees and I’m looking forward to seeing how the network develops.
It was such a great evening getting to meet some lovely people from organisations across Suffolk. I’m looking forward to many more opportunities to work with the wonderful people at The Mental Health Toolkit.
